Specialist Referrals

If your Northpoint Pediatrics doctor or nurse practitioner directs you to a specialist, please call our office-or Contact Us with your appointment date, time, specialist name, and reason for the referral. Please notify our patient account office at least 5 business days before your appointment. This will allow us time to process the referral according to your insurance company’s requirements and for your specialist to receive notice of the authorization prior to your arrival for the visit.

Authorization must be obtained prior to your visit to the specialist.
