How Can Child Psychology help my family?
Children face many challenges as they grow and navigate today’s complex world. Just as adults may need psychological help to cope with and effectively manage life stressors, children can often benefit from seeing a psychologist as well. When parents, medical providers, or teachers notice that children aren’t functioning as well as they could, a referral to a psychologist may be helpful. A psychologist can help children cope with such problems as anxiety and depression, hyperactivity, conflicts with peers, trauma and loss, and stressful events like divorce.
