I was born and raised in Northern Illinois. I attended Augustana College and Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. I then moved to Indianapolis where I completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Methodist and Riley Hospitals. My wife is a neurodevelopmental pediatrician at Riley Hospital for Children. I have a special interest in adoptees – domestic and international. In my free time, I enjoy biking, music and woodworking. We have two children.
